I woke up early, but I was late for work again I'm being pulled in three different directions You check the time, you check the date You check the eye in the sky, watch the pupils dilate I'm so ashamed, of what I did all day Stuck in this place, that stole most of my life away I'm an electric addict, making love to TV static Oh the noises that she made, there's a war on your television screen I'm swallowing little white moons, for this ebb tide in my blood God dammit i'm tired, but I'm too bored to be this young I'm saving all of my cash, I'm cutting off my hair There's a time and a place, for this type of behavior I'm sorry but sometimes I hope that it gets worse before it gets better

Oral Surgeon 03:00
Our love is like the stars It could be dead for years before anyone even noticed I threw up all over the side of my car From too many of those pills I got from my oral surgeon But I could be your broken mirror Lay in pieces on the floor Give to you a thousand faces All too sharp to rub against your skin My brain's an electrical Chemical releaser, seeking dopamine and oxytocin I took the whole day off I might just turn on the TV and close the curtains But I could ride my bike to work And grow a beard to cover my face I could eat only organic fruit And I could move to syracuse in the spring Sometimes you get so lonely But you are never alone There are cameras in your ceiling fan Tape recorders in your walls There's a man who watches you watch television And takes notes
3.
Teeth 03:09
Old faded watercolor painting of a ghost, how I loved you Remember that night I got so close I crawled inside of you Used my arms as your arms, and my legs as your legs Stole the air from your lungs and used my heart to pump your blood And you would never lift a finger again I saw your teeth, and I wondered when you'd bite It occurred to me, that I must have been a human being At some point in time Round and round it goes but does it ever stop? Or do the cycles just repeat themselves and soon enough again I'll show my claws And my fur will grow like forests and your screams will fill the hallways of our home Until i'm locked inside the basement and you return to the safety of your room You saw my teeth, and you wondered when I'd bite Did it occur to me that I must have been a human being At some point in time
